Heroic Acts in the Line of Duty: Arrow Security Honors Team Members for Life-Saving Bravery and Quick Thinking
Abdoul Toure, Augustine King, Carl Wright, Samuka Konneh, Pedro Rodriquez, & Ayodele Ayo Ojo Receive Angel Awards

New York, New York – Arrow Security is proud to honor six of its exceptional team members ‒ Abdoul Toure, Augustine King, Carl Wright, Samuka Konneh, Pedro Rodriguez, & Ayodele Ayo Ojo ‒ as recipients of the company’s distinguished Arrow Angels Award. This prestigious recognition celebrates their extraordinary bravery, quick thinking, and life-saving actions while on duty.
LIVES SAVED WITH NARCAN
Security Officer Abdoul Toure was stationed on the mezzanine level of a facility, which provided visibility to the third floor, when he noticed a client in visible distress. After receiving a call for assistance from the third-floor officer, Toure responded without delay. Upon arrival, he found a client under the influence and in urgent need of medical attention. Following Arrow Security’s established NARCAN protocol, Toure promptly administered a dose of NARCAN. When the client remained unresponsive, Shift Supervisor Augustine King joined the effort, administering a second dose per protocol. Thanks to their swift and coordinated response, the client regained consciousness and became alert. EMS arrived shortly thereafter and transported the individual to a local hospital.
In a separate incident, Shift Supervisor Carl Wright discovered a client unresponsive in a locked bathroom stall. Acting decisively, Wright accessed the stall from an adjacent one, quickly unlocked the door, and removed the individual. Recognizing the signs of an overdose, he administered two doses of NARCAN in accordance with company procedures. As a result, the client regained awareness and became responsive.

Shift Supervisor Samuka Konneh also played a critical role in two separate emergencies. In one instance, he responded to a report of a client in distress who appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance and was unresponsive to verbal or physical cues. Konneh administered an initial dose of NARCAN, followed by a sternum rub and a second dose when there was no reaction. The client soon regained consciousness and became responsive as EMS arrived to provide further medical assistance.
In another case, Konneh responded to an unresponsive client found lying on the floor beside their bed. Two doses of NARCAN had already been administered by staff with no success. Konneh began CPR chest compressions while staff delivered a third dose. When the client still showed no response, Konneh administered a fourth dose of NARCAN and continued compressions per EMS directives. The client had a heartbeat and was stabilized for transport by EMS personnel.
Additionally, Officer Pedro Rodriguez discovered an unconscious client in a facility bathroom while on patrol. He quickly initiated the NARCAN protocol and called for assistance. Officer Abdoul Toure and Supervisor Ayodele Ayo Ojo arrived to support the effort. Ojo administered a second and third dose of NARCAN without effect. A fourth dose, administered by Toure, ultimately led to the client regaining responsiveness. EMS arrived shortly after and transported the client to the hospital.
These heroic actions reflect the core values of Arrow Security’s We Care philosophy, exemplifying the commitment of our officers and supervisors to the safety and well-being of those they serve.
