1. How did you come to work in security?

I was a police officer before entering the security industry. I had to move out of state for family reasons, and while applying for a position in a Massachusetts department, I was offered a job in security operations 29 years ago. I’ve been in the industry ever since.

2.   What are you most passionate about outside of work?

Family, Hotrods, Harleys, tools and gearhead toys.

3.   How would you describe the perfect day off?

Spending the day at a hotrod car show or car races, or simply working in my hotrod barn, then cooking out with the family. I also love road trips and seeing new places.

4.   What is your favorite quote, motto, or mantra?

“You might not like how the message was delivered but the message is still the message.”

5.   What is your favorite food, and why?

Bone-in ribeye on the grill or Italian food. These are dishes I grew up with, they’re delicious and filling, and they’re great for sharing with friends and family or enjoying after a long day.

6.   What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?

Work hard, pay your bills, and be fair to others.

7.   What person do you believe has had the greatest influence on your life, and why?

My father. He’s the person who has shaped me into who I am today. He used every situation as a teaching moment, and because of his wisdom and lessons, there are so many things I can do now.

 8.   Is there a personal/professional challenge you’ve overcome, and what did you learn from it?

I’ve learned that you can’t be everything to everyone all the time. You can only be the best version of yourself, and that’s enough. Every time someone tried to knock me down, I became stronger and stayed true to who I am, not what others expected me to be.

9.   What does success mean to you, both personally and professionally?

Success means living a happy, healthy, and prosperous life. It’s about having a strong, loving marriage, a positive working environment, and being surrounded by people who love, value, and respect you.

10. What was your favorite travel/vacation destination, or what place is top of your list to travel next?

Cape Cod, where I take my children every year. We have a house on the water, and it’s our special place. Our next dream destination is Disney with my kids.

11. If you had one superpower, what would it be?

The ability to grant my children long, happy, healthy, and prosperous lives. I want them to truly live their best lives and enjoy every day to the fullest.
